Beginning with one van and a Tech in Atlanta in 1993, Reliant has been committed to self-performing growth. One Tech has grown to a fleet of technicians that blanket nearly the entire Southeast. Reliant employee Technicians are based in major cities throughout the Southeast. Each Tech has primary responsibility for a specific service area. Techs take pride in how they take care of "their" stores and "their store managers". Techs drive their Reliant service vans home so that they can respond quickly and efficiently to work orders and to emergencies in their areas.
In addition to territories, Reliant believes in teams and teamwork. Due to fluctuating workloads within service areas, as well as between service areas, Reliant Techs have the support of co-workers. Senior Techs in service areas participate in hiring, training and evaluations of co-workers. Reliant tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on Techs and teams, as well as for the division as a whole. Providing outstanding service requires being more than one Technician deep.
