Andre Cook of Tilly's Wins Reliant Rolex Watch
For two days the Rosen Shingle Creek exhibit floor in Orlando, Florida bustled with noise and activity as vendors, retailers and industry leaders met and networked their way around PRSM2010! And while many vendors had a variety of giveaways like pens, water bottles, reusable bags and other items to draw in potential clients, Reliant had just one...a genuine Rolex watch. This year's lucky winner: Andre Cook of Tilly's, a west-coast lifestyle clothing, shoes, and accessories chain store.
This is the third year in a row that Reliant has attended the PRSM National Conference, and the third year we have given away a Rolex watch to remind people that it's "Time for Blue Shirt Service."
"We love the attention the Rolex giveaway provides us every year," says Brad Cruickshank, Reliant founder and president. "The interest it creates allows us a lot more opportunity to meet people, shake their hands, and familiarize ourselves with their needs so we can help them. And quite frankly, it's just fun."
Fun indeed—we're sure Andre Cook had a great time upon learning he had won the $4000 watch. At least, that's what the smile on his face seemed to say. Our 2009 winner, Jerry Lancaster (CostCo.) had the same smile.
With PRSM2010! now behind us, we're looking forward to seeing PRSM members again at the mid-year conference in Dallas, Texas. See ya'll in September!
